Rob Kerr, that’s me in that photo over there…
Much happier behind the camera, I’m pretty passionate about architecture, British history and its dazzling array of incredible buildings, engineering, cars, technology and of course photography and producing beautiful images of homes.
I currently work alongside leading local and national estate agents, home owners and landlords producing engaging, vibrant and thoughtfully composed images. Houses just seem to sell after I’ve photographed them – sometimes in under an hour!
So, property photography…
I really have shot them all – houses, homes, flats, pads, gaffs, whatever you call your castle. I’ve been in tiny rural farm workers cottages where no cat would ever be swung around, I’ve been privileged to shoot some spectacular £1m+ period houses and mega-sized footballers mansions, some ancient manor houses and halls, new penthouse apartments, funky flats, student accommodation, hotels, b&b’s, pubs, restaurants and a whole host of commercial properties, schools, cathedrals, castles and other historical buildings.
I have over a decade of professional photography experience to draw on and use the latest Nikon equipment so you can be assured of my best work and top quality images – every time. My commercial stock images and property photographs continue to sell worldwide and have been published in trade magazines, text books, editorials and national newspaper adverts – recently a kitchen image has even made it ont’ tele!
Life is pretty busy with work, school runs, a working wife (who I must say is a goddess) and 3 crazy young boys – but in my spare time I like to waste money on cars (50+ cars in 25 years, which I’m sure my wife hates), cycling in and around Derbyshire, local history, engineering, a bit of wood turning and (when I can) visiting more castles & cathedrals.
Oh yes, I also keeps chickens 🙂
